Most households or businesses cannot be self sufficient on solar PV alone unless they own enough free land space or roof space to install a PV array large enough. However, installing even a few panels can help offset your electrical bill. In many cases there can be hybrid solutions which combine solar PV with one or more of the following: solar thermal, wind, geothermal and power conditioning.
Solar PV systems work by converting light into electrical power. This is achieved using a thin layer of semi-conducting material, most commonly silicon, enclosed in a glass or plastic casing. When exposed to sunlight the semi-conducting material causes electrons in the materials’ atoms to be knocked loose. The electrons that are knocked loose then flow through the material to produce an electric current known as a direct current (DC). The direct current is carried through wiring to an inverter which converts the current to alternating current (AC) so it can be connected to your property’s main electricity distribution board which is either used within the home or fed back into the national grid.
After years of research, testing, and customer experience we decided to only work with one solar panel manufacturer that offers several manufacturing options with superior products.

ALL SOLAR IS NOT THE SAME.
AllEarth dual-axis solar trackers capture more of the day's energy potential, giving you more return on your solar investment. They're a simple yet powerful solution for a brighter energy future.
From small commercial installations to residential systems, the AllEarth dual-axis solar tracker is a go-to product for customers looking for a high-end, high-efficiency, American-made solar solution.
Solar thermal energy is free and can usually provide up to 80% of the annual energy to heat domestic hot water. You're using the sun's energy to heat a solar collector full of solar fluid, which then transfers that heat into your home's hot water tank. It is the most financially feasible renewable source for hot water and space heating.
Solar hot water systems are extremely efficient, providing up to 60% of a home's annual hot water needs. More than $13 billion is spent on energy for home water heating in the United States which is equivalent to 11.4 barrels of oil per American home.

We have chosen to represent Heliodyne for solar thermal products. Founded in 1976, Heliodyne™ Inc. is proud to be among the oldest solar hot water companies in the U.S. Their focus on solar hot water has made them a true specialist in the solar industry, and a leading supplier of quality solar heating systems throughout the country.
Heliodyne systems use flat plate collectors instead of evacuated tubes for hot water. They are more efficient year round, generally less expensive, more durable and have a more subtle rooftop presence.
Installing a Heliodyne solar hot water system reduces utility bills while helping the environment. It reduces your home’s greenhouse gas emissions by not relying on electricity or gas to heat water.
The system comes with remote monitoring so you can see how your system performs daily. It will also alert the installer of any needed maintenance.
